The Campsite has been owned and operated since 1967 by the Town of Waverly in St. Regis Falls, NY. In this brochure you will find the Rules and Regulations for its usage, a list of facilities available, and some of the attractions that are found nearby.In the Campsite you will find excellent Trout fishing, several miles of scenic trails, and a beautiful 150 ft. footbridge spanning across the St. Regis River below the waterfalls. At the entrance to the Campsite is the Town Museum with early lumbering, railroad, and farming artifacts from the area. Northern Pike, Bass, and Bullhead fishing are rated excellent above the dam and have excelled in recent years. A boat is recommended for still-water fishing or trolling above the dam.

Wireless Service is limited throughout most areas of the Campsite. Cell phone service is available through Cingular AT&T and Verizon.

In case of a Fire or an Emergency call 911 or the State Police at 911.
Please observe our Campsite safety rules:
The speed limit is 10 MPH. ATVs and motorized bikes are prohibited.
No one under age 18 years is allowed to camp without a parent or guardian.
Quiet Hours are 10 pm to 7 am.
Keep pets under responsible control (on a leash or in a carrier), are not to be left unattended or in any campsite facilities, and you must clean up after it.
No Wading or Swimming.
No unattended fireplaces or campfires & use only dead and down wood in fires.
No cutting or mutilating trees or shrubs, and no peeling of birch bark.
No cutting wood on fireplaces. Chainsaws are prohibited.
No defacing buildings or structures.
No firearms or fireworks are allowed in the campsite.
Do not feed, attract, remove, or harass animals, plants, etc.
A NY State Fishing License is required for anyone over age 16.
No picnickers are allowed in the camping area after 9 pm.
We reserve the right to cancel any reservation at our discretion.
Campsite and Reservation Information

The Campsite and the Town of Waverly will not be held liable for the loss or damage of any personal property and possessions.
All people entering the Campsite must check in with the Recreation Attendant. There is a 2-day minimum stay on weekends. For reservations, call 518-856-9820 from May 1st through September 29th. For reservations starting December 1st through May 1st please call 518-856-9482.
Payment of half of the total fee for a RV Site is due within 7 days of making a reservation and the balance is due to be paid in full by April 1st. Each site is limited to 6 people, 2 vehicles, and 1 tent or 1 camper.
To reserve a Cabin or a Tent Site payment of one-half of the total fee is to be received within 7 days from the date reservations are made, it is a non-refundable fee. The balance due is to be paid in full by April 1st. Cabin renters must furnish their own pots, pans, linens, dishes, blankets, and cooking utensils.
Please mail a check or money order payable to: Town of Waverly, St. Regis Falls Scenic Campsite, PO Box 289, St. Regis Falls, NY 12980. Denote in the check memo line the reservation date and the name of the Cabin / RV / Tent Site #.
Town of Waverly Ordinances are posted in each cabin and at central locations throughout the campsite. Contact the Town Supervisor at 518-856-9482 and press 1 or call 911 for emergencies at the Campsite.
Sites C1 to C11 are Not Seasonal Sites. Sites C12 to C29 are Seasonal Sites.
RV & Trailer site rates per Season (a $200 deposit is required):
$850.00 without a Sewer connection.
$1,200 with a Sewer connection (On the road not beside the river, C24 - C29).
$1,350 (Located beside the river, C1 - C23).
There is a $200 Winter Storage Fee to leave your RV from October to April. It must be paid in full by September 30th.
Campsites
C1 through C3: includes power and water.
C4 - C29: Lower camping area, Lower Meadow tenting sites, & RV and trailer sites located along the river, includes power, water, and sewer.
Lean-to: $20 per night.

Hunters Home - Overlooks the Picnic Area.

Wilderness - Overlooks the River

Mountain Home - Overlooks the River .

2 twin beds, a futon, electric heat, electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, table and chairs, ceiling fan, shower, toilet, deck, and a picnic table.
Ski Lodge - Overlooks the Waterfalls.
$102 Daily $644 Weekly (utility fee included in price) Accommodates 4:
1 full size bunk bed plus 1 double bed, couch, fire place, gas heat, gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, picnic table, ceiling fan, shower, and toilet.
St. Regis - Overlooks the River
$87 Daily | $549 Weekly (utility fee included in price) Accommodates 4:
1 double bed, fold out sofa, microwave, ceiling fan, shower, and toilet.
Camp Gabriels - Overlooks the River and Footbridge.

Rockhill - Overlooks the River and the Picnic Area.
$927 Weekly (utility fee included in price) Accommodates 6:Two-story cabin w/ 2 bedrooms (one w/ 1 twin bed & one w/ 1 full size bed), loft w/ 1 queen & 1 twin size bed, 2 couches, furnished kitchen, washer & dryer, ceiling fan, shower, a toilet, gas heat, mud room, & a porch. It is available to rent Monday through Sunday.
Area
The Town of Waverly History Museum is located at 15 Water Street, on the left before our Campsite Administration Building. There are many artifacts and historical displays from the Town & area. It is open from 1 pm to 3 pm on Sundays from July 4th to Labor Day, or by appointment with the Town Historian, 518-856-9482.
Church Services: You are cordially invited to attend local Church Services at the following churches: Roman Catholic, Free Methodist, & the United Methodist.
Beach and Playground: The Town Beach and Playground are open seven days a week from June 24th to August 20, 2023, at 10 am to 6 pm.
Enjoy a day trips using the Campsite as your base camp to: The St. Lawrence Seaway & Rbt. Moses-Saunders Power Dam in Massena on the US Border (40 miles); Saranac Lake & Lake Placid Olympic, Recreational, & Shopping venues (50 miles); Walmart Super Centers in Malone & Potsdam (25 miles), & the St. Lawrence Center Mall in Massena (40 miles). Close by are thousands of acres of the State Lands, which are open to tourists. Climb Azure Mt. to a Fire Tower. A short hike to the Pinnacle, south off of State Rt. 458. In Blue Mountain Lake, Adirondack Experience (Museum) & in Tupper Lake the Wild Center Museum & Observatory.
